The Jewish Comic Con will be held at Congregation Kol Israel (not to be confused with "Congregation Kal-El" aka the Superman Shul) at 603 Johns Place in Brooklyn, New York 11238.

8:00 AM - MORNING SERVICE -- What do you do when you organize a comic book convention in a synagogue ? You start the day with the
Sha’haris morning service led by
Rabbi Sam Reinstein. Open to everyone, whether you have a pass or not. A light breakfast will be served after the service.
9:00 AM – 9:55 AM - COLLECTORS ON THE MIC' -- Collectors Dr Martin Brody and Michael Lustig will be discussing their passions in collecting comics. Both have dedicated and recognized collections in particular to Jewish themed and Holocaust related collections
10:00 AM – 10:55 AM - REPRESENTATION IN COMICS -- Representation matters more than ever in comics these days. And what better place than Jewish Comic Con to highlight what it means for our medium and how it was not designed to be a place where representation was a thing to begin with! Panelists include:

11:00 AM – 11:55 AM - A CONTRACT WITH GOD AT 40 -- The legendary graphic novel created by
Will Eisner turns 40 this year.
Danny Fingeroth (author of Disguised as Clark Kent: Jews, Comics, and the Creation of the Superhero) and
Arie Kaplan (author of From Krakow to Krypton : Jews and Comic Books) take a closer look at one of the collection of stories that probably captured the New York Jewish life the best.
12:00 PM – 12:45 PM - SPOTLIGHT ON DR RUTH!-- The Jewish Comic Con is honored to welcome
Dr Ruth Westerheimer (does she really need an introduction?) to talk about her recently published graphic novel:
Roller Coaster Grandma. The panel will be followed by a signing session in the room.
12:45 PM – 1:15 PM - AFTERNOON SERVICE (MIN’HA) -- Yes! We’re still in a synagogue. So the main hall will shift back to temple mode for a 30- minute quick service with
Rabbi Sam Reinstein!
1:00 PM – 1:55 PM - SHOAH IN COMICS -- Zakhor! Remembrance in Hebrew. Let's never forget about the Shoah (the Holocaust). And comics have certainly been doing their part in making sure nobody ever forgets. Join
Danny Fingeroth (author of Disguised as Clark Kent: Jews, Comics, and the Creation of the Superhero) and
Arie Kaplan (author of From Krakow to Krypton : Jews and Comic Books) as they talk about those important comics with survivor and artist
